Wind and light storage and new energy vehicles contribute to the continued high growth of global inverters

Inverter is the core component of new energy generation equipment. The inverter is a converter that converts DC power (battery, storage battery) into fixed frequency, fixed voltage or FM AC power (usually 220V, 50Hz sine wave). It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic and filter circuit. The inverter is needed to convert DC power to AC power in order to integrate the generated power into the grid or for load use.
Capacitors, inductors, and IGBTs are the core components of the inverter industry chain. Upstream of the inverter industry chain are electronic component suppliers, including semiconductor components, capacitors, integrated circuits, inductors and heat sinks, etc., midstream are inverter manufacturers, and downstream are EPC contractors, end power plant owners and integrated installers, with high technical barriers and wide coverage.
The demand for electronic components is even greater for energy storage PCS. Energy storage PCS is an intermediate energy conversion environment connecting battery and grid, converting DC power from battery to AC power for grid connection, or converting AC power from grid to DC power for charging into battery, PCS is a bidirectional converter, with energy control in both charging and discharging directions. Therefore, more electronic components are required. For example, the amount of capacitors used in a single energy storage inverter is 44% more than that of a PV inverter.
